Homemade Lemonade Recipe

During my Plastic Trash Challenge, I learned how to make homemade lemonade. Store-bought lemonade simply doesn’t measure up! AND kids love it! Here is the recipe I found:
Preparation: 15 min 
Refrigeration: 2 h 
Yield: 1.5 Litres (about 6 cups)
• 1.25 L (5 cups) ice cold water 
• 150 mL (1 cup) sugar* 
• 250 mL (1 cup) lemon juice (about 5 lemons)**

In a large saucepan, bring 250 mL (1 cup) of the water to a boil with the sugar, stirring until all the sugar is dissolved. 
Pour the sugar water in a pitcher and add the rest of the ice cold water, along with the juice from the squeezed lemons. Mix well and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
VoilĂ ! It’s so quick and simple! A good habit to adopt ;)
